Finally.. updates!!

Great band,.. professional to the end!

This is a short update as I'm mixing / editing furiously trying to get more things to put up on here done now I've finally got some internet at home.

The wait will not be much more, I promise!

Changes and Update!

So, a little alteration to the schedule.

I've got Clint coming in tomorrow instead of Chi Weapon, which I had to re-arrange due to the dates not being suitable for any of the parties involved.

Clint are.. Clint.

Videos will be up within the next couple weeks, so you can judge for yourselves.

A more interesting update will occur later in the week with pictures, and then video!

New Update!

Hello All!!

Apologies for the lack of communication on this blog,.. My internet provider decided to stop giving me internet by accident. 

The project has reached the 2nd stage, and I am pleased to announce that CHI WEAPON are the next band to enter the "sessions".

With their funk / rock / blues influences,.. they're going to make a great contrast to THE MIXUPs... so this project will have something for everyone!

Another clip will be up as soon as humanly possible (just need internet!).

Thanks goes out to Stevie @ Berkeley 2 for all of his help on the MIXUPS sessions... I look forward to using his rehearsal spaces again soon.

Editing!

So, it's now come to the stage where editing has properly begun after a  few faults here and there.

Expect a few clips up this week.

I am meeting with my mentor to clear up a few problems I'm having, then the four songs should have clips ready for viewing in the near future..

The next band, and recording date will be confirmed from how well the previous one was received by the owner of the rehearsal space.

Honours - Day One

Here are the first pictures from my honours project.

Those unfamiliar with the project will be looking for an explanation..

Well, I take a band into a studio or suitable space.. and re-create an atmosphere similar to that of Live At Abbey Road (Channel 4). 

The band I chose as the first band were the Mixups from Glasgow. They are a 3 piece with a strong sound and songs.

Not only is the video being captured, but live audio too.. This is a large scale project which will not just feature the Mixups - but will also feature several unannounced bands across varying genres!
